Sarcococca confusa (Sweet Box / Christmas Box)

A compact, evergreen shrub with small, ovate, glossy, deep green leaves. This shrub flowers in the winter months with highly scented, small white flowers from December onwards followed by spherical black berries.

The shrub can be allowed to grow, when it will reach approximately 1.5m or it can be clipped formally into spheres, cubes or cones.

Wonderful when planted next to the entrance to your home where the heady scent will fill the air or can be be used as a hedging plant. The plant will tolerate all aspects and soils but likes to be sheltered from high winds.
